About Raleigh Memorial Park & Mitchell Funeral Home
Raleigh Memorial Park sits on one of the highest points in the city of Raleigh and encompasses more than 50 developed acres. Founded in 1959, Raleigh Memorial Park is proud to be the only cemetery in North Carolina designated as a National Wildlife Habitat.

The park is divided into eight developed gardens utilizing flat bronze memorials as well as a traditional upright monument garden and private estates. Many of the gardens of Raleigh Memorial Park display one-of-a-kind Italian marble statues. The Christus Garden features a solid marble statue of Christ, one of the largest religious statues in North America. The Garden of Memory Veterans section features a solid bronze monument dedicated to the members of the armed forces as well as flags representing each branch of service.

Along with two garden mausoleums for those choosing above ground entombment, Raleigh Memorial Park is also pleased to offer the beautiful Chapel Mausoleum. This building offers exterior and interior entombment along with a fully operational chapel where many funeral services are held.
